Carnival Deparment
Since the mid 20th century carnival started to merge together and melt down into one huge national cultural expression on the island that features people from different nationalities.
With the music of Tumba as the official music form to be promoted and played and the media coverage of almost every important event, Carnival is one of the biggest and most important cultural manifestation in Curaçao.
Curaçao Carnival is a celebration in a class of its own. It more or less takes full possession of the whole community through competitions (Tumba music festival), beauty pageants, private and public parties and street parades during the first weeks of the year climaxing on the weekend and Tuesday preceding the Ash Wednesday .

Training actors are part of a training, playing a role in roleplays, remaining in the learning environment. The goal is to help the trainee or coachee put in to practice what he or she got in theory. The focus therefor is on the trainee or coachee and less on the actor himself.
Training actors can also play a role as a “mystery shopper” in an organization. In this case the training actor plays the role of a mystery guest in an organization, in order to observe for example, the quality of a specific service and later report this to the client.
The word actor usually comes along with stages, audience, entertainment and more. However, acting within a training environment has a different purpose than other forms of acting like stage acting.
The focus is on the learning experience rather than a scripted entertainment act.
The roleplays therefor are not acted with the use of scripts but mostly on improvisation based on the reaction of the trainee.
It is about creating insight, experience and learning moments for the trainee in a training environment.
